[January - December 2007]EU WITH YOU: 1957-2007: 50th ANNIVERSARY OF THE TREATY OF ROME
On the 17th September 2006, the European Movement Belgium, with the support of the EMI, celebrated the negotiations leading to the Treaty of Rome at an exceptional opening of the Chateau de Val Duchesse in Brussels.
Following the success of this event (almost 15,000 people attended throughout the day), the EMI, in partnership with the European Movements in Belgium, France and Italy will organise in 2007 similar events with the support of the European Parliament.

The European Movement is working on the Plan D at full speed, together with a strong partnership consisting of 3 large pan-European networks (JEF, UEF and AEGEE), a media partner (EurActiv) and 26 other direct national partner organizations. We are implementing a large information and debating campaign whose main objectives are the stimulation and facilitation of debates concerning the current work of the EU and its future challenges.
